"The new Northern Voice Festival has released more information on the monthlong, statewide festival of choral music April 10 to May 10.
The festival plans to present dozens of concerts across the state throughout the month, as well as two special Festival Days modeled after the Minnesota Fringe performing arts festival. During the Festival Days, there will be three dozen ensembles with more than 2,500 singers participating in seven venues during 45 hours of performances.
The first Festival Day is April 11, when 16 groups will perform in Sateren Hall and Hoversten Chapel at Minneapolis' Augsburg College as well as Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University of Minnesota campus. VocalPoint, From Age to Age and Angelica Cantanti Concert Choir are among the acts set to appear."
